#1 Digital Challenge & Photo Prompt

(Click on the photo to enlarge, than right click to save.)
This is a photo I took during a road trip through the Mesa Verde area of southern Utah.  I doubt this door is original, more than likely it was added to keep vandals out, but I liked the idea of opening doors, new opportunities, knocking on doors, pathways, etc.  Use your imagination to digitally manipulate this photo and share it with us.

The 1st Photo Prompt is: "First Light"

Have fun with these challenges and please add a link in the comments as described in the "Rules" above.

  6. Hi Cindy.
Great photo to start the challenges with!
    Here's my interpretation.

  7. This pioneer cabin was built a short distance away from an ancient "Pueblo Indian" adobe mud hut village. To see all of the interpretations of this photo in your digital work is really in keeping with the history of the photo. The museum that was also built further away from this site, housed a variety of Indian artifacts: jewelry, hand-made shell bead-work, woven moccasins and lots of pottery. Very inspiring to me and I am thrilled for the opportunity to share this photo with you.

  8. Well, I must say that I definitely did not keep with the history of the photo...I took a left hand turn somewhere along the way LOL! I had fun with it...enjoy!

  12. Love this challenge! I posted about the challenge and my version of the above image here - http://itaya.blogspot.com/2010/12/digital-challenge.html . I felt like the image could be a 'dim memory' and attempted to capture that feeling in my version.
